■November is one of the best seasons to visit Beijing, followed by May and June. The climate is cool and comfortable, sometimes with a slight breeze.

■The red walls of the ancient buildings, the parks and the golden leaves on the outskirts of the capital make the whole city look more charming and elegant. It is a good time to explore the outskirts of Beijing, where ancient temples are covered with red leaves and golden ginkgoes.
